Week 24 Update
Barham
On our way in today we stopped by our Barham job to catch up with two of the guys on site and see whats happened in the past week and a bit! As you can see below, the external stud walls on the ground and first have been built along with all of the frame’s window trims. We also arrived on site to find an immense job done with the scaffolding, this will give our team access to every level of the frame to ensure we finish the job to the highest standard. It’s defiantly come in handy this week while Andrew and Matt have been raiding the soft wood roof!
In utilities news today BT stopped by and ran their telecoms cables into what will eventually be the plant room.
Deal
last week a couple of our guys headed back to the porch job we did the week before to fit the front of the house and garage with oak weatherboarding. We’re pleased to say that we played a part in turning this once ordinary looking house into some very different and special. But above all else the client is over the moon and we’re very pleased to hear that!
Park In The Past
As we said last week three members of the team were to travel across the country to Wales where they would be helping Park in the past with the start of production on what will become a roman fort. This week however they had been focusing on the fort’s gate house. As you can see the boys did a cracking job, just in time for the bank holiday weekend! We’ll be sure to keep an eye out on this project and we’ll let you know how they’re getting on!
Workshop Update
Back at the yard the mill is in full use as we’re prepping an order for sticks for a client who specialises in eco matting.
