Hammer Beam Update – 20/10/2017
It’s been over a year since we completed the double hammer beam that we had out in the yard. if you didn’t see it, here’s a link! http://bit.ly/2yUkAvy. It’s since been out in the yard waiting to be raised and after being sat there for the past year we were worried that it would have suffered at the hands of the elements, so when we got the call sometime last week saying that the site was ready to receive the frame we decided to bring it back to the workshop to reassemble sections of the frame.
When we got them in we were quite surprised to find that while they may have moved a little out of about 80 pieces of oak only two were in a concerning way. These have now been amended and are waiting to be taken to site in the coming weeks. SO be keeping an eye out for that and while your eyes are currently here have a look at some of the photos one of our guys took this week!
