Its been an incredible busy few weeks here at Norton Timber. Since we last wrote a blog we have done a lot so lets start with the sling braces we told you about in the last blog. Since then the braces have now been placed in there forever home and look stunning. This build is also what we call key in the door meaning we completely finish it. So the team has been working on getting with trying to finish it up.

Our current house build is going well. The walls are now being plastered and the windows have been delivered. In the next few weeks the windows will be installed and hopefully we can make a start on the final touches such as skirting and architrave.
The new office is also moving on well all the windows have been installed and all the walls have been plaster boarded in preparation for plastering at the beginning of November.

During our time away we have also got ourselves a new “toy” the boss and one of our team set off on a trip to south wales to have a look at a possible new forklift for us. After having a look at the few on offer the decision was made on a Manitou 627 Turbo and about two weeks later she was delivered. A big thank you to David from NI OX DE PLANT SALES for helping us.

Some more news is that we made it to the final 4 of the build it awards. Win or not we are all thrilled to standing alongside the big boys in the industry and cant wait to attend the awards.
