Description
One of the most interesting and challenging design and builds we have ever undertaken with the frame on display both outside in. Starting with outline plans and working closely with the client and a focus on our traditional methods employed in a Norton Timber frame giving them the hand-made bespoke look. Featuring a center section as well as East and West wings the frame stands at two stories high. It sits in a very exposed site and the frame would be open to the elements. This required the design and build of purpose made insulation panels that have performed extremely well. This project was enabled by very effective working relationships and communication with the other companies involved in the build and we thank them. Architects: Richard Daniels Engineer: NJ McAnally and associates Main contractors: Colman & James
