Description
Although not big this was a challenging frame! It was an extension to a listed building that would sit snugly between one of the city’s many streets and the river Stour. The design was as bespoke as they come as it did not meet normal patterns such as running square to the existing house. The design includes a jetted first floor over the river with the frame sitting on the wall running along the side of the lane and a double hipped roof. On the ground floor a beamed ceiling looks provides character in the sitting room while on the first floor the arched braced truss roof, diamond hips and exposed stud work looks stunning in the master bedroom.
