Bromley
As the heat continues, our boys have had a busy week. One of the big things we got up to was our trip to Bromley to raise the frame that we showed you being sand blasted last week. We had a roof and two window bays to raise, and as you can see in the video there job went very smoothly. A smaller task for sure, but certainly not a bad one!
Barham
After stopping by the sight on the way to work this morning, we were able to get a few pictures of how the job is progressing. The foundations have been poured and set and has solidified (get it? 😝) how big a project this will be when its completed. Even from the pictures of the pad now you can see what is going to be a big project!
Not Long now until we’re able to put the frame up and start on completing this job!

Last week you saw the preparations that had been made in order to lay the screed inside the building. As promised, here’s how it looks now!
This now allows us to move forward with the job and set about finishing internal wall insolation the then from there plaster boarding.
Not only was the screed laid this week but our friends with D J Moys Renderingcompleted the external render for the frame. The block work on the buildings corners, and the arches over the windows make for perfect accents to the build’s face. Next job is to paint it and seal the render, and once that’s done it will look even better!
Barn Extension
A few months ago we were asked to design and build an extension to a pre-existing barn. Taking prompts from the existing building we’re now in the process of building this frame. As you can see one of the main aspects of this build is it’s huge curved tie beam which you can see being cut here!
This frame is looking good and we’re excited to be raising it next week. Be sure to come back next week to see how we get on!
